The Balkans, also known as the Balkan Peninsula is a very beautiful area in southeastern Europe. They get their name from the Balkan Mountain range which stretches through the whole of Bulgaria.
If you haven’t been, you need to go! Some of the countries in the Balkans are my all-time favourite to visit!
