The Hague is a city on the North Sea coast of the western Netherlands. The official name for the city is, Den Haag.

We only had the afternoon to explore The Hague. If you are visiting short of time like ourselves, here are the top things I recommend you see:

Binnenhof

The Binnenhof is a series of government buildings, located next to the beautiful lake, the Hofvijver. You can book yourself on a tour to go around them. Unfortunately, we did not have time to do this.

Scheveningen Strand

The Scheveningen Strand is a beach resort in The Hague. A place with wide, sandy beaches, a pier, and lots of restaurants. If you are after a beach day, this is the place to come. When we arrived, the weather had turned stormy and ended up been in a thunderstorm on the pier.
