Clearwater is a city in Florida’s Tampa Bay area. Clearwater Beach is on a barrier island along the gulf coast. It’s just over a 2-hour drive from Florida’s capital, Orlando, and an hour’s drive from one of America’s famous theme parks, Busch Gardens.
I visited Clearwater Beach back in December 2008, after spending a day at Busch Gardens, with my family. We only had a quick visit to Clearwater Beach, just enough time to dip our feet in the Gulf of Mexico. Unfortunately, between us, we only took one photo. So that is the only photo I have to share with you all.
Since our visit to Clearwater Beach, it has become America’s number 1 beach and in the top 10 best beaches in the world. I definitely do need to pay another visit to Clearwater and spend more time enjoying the beautiful, white-sanded beach.
