Humber Llamas is a fully insured and licensed working farm, located in Barton-Upon-Humber, North Lincolnshire. They offer work placements and daycare for adults with learning disabilities and additional needs. Humber Llamas also offer family fun days for anyone who loves llamas, like me.
The Family Fun Days
We arranged a private group visit to Humber Llamas. It cost us £25 each for an hour-long session of llama trekking. It was so much fun. The llamas were very friendly and well behaved. With it been my 30th birthday, they decorated the place with birthday banners and bought me a card and some llama gifts, including a fantastic llama cake. We had the opportunity to feed the llamas, groom them and they even gave me the opportunity to take off the lead. The staff made the experience unforgettable.
If llama trekking isn’t your thing, they also offer a meet and greet with the llamas and wildlife and llama fun treasure hunts.

Work Placements
They offer placements and care days in a supportive outdoor learning environment, teaching you how to run a llama farm. They will teach you how to deal with members of the public, land management, active conservation, animal handling, and horticulture.
