A Great Winter Hike: The South Dalton 5 Mile Circuit

South Dalton is a beautiful village, located just outside the town of Beverley, in gorgeous Yorkshire Wold’s.

This route is an easy 5-mile circuit, perfect to walk in the winter months. We walked it in the rain, on one wet Sunday morning in December. The route leads you through South Dalton Estate and onto neighbouring country roads. A route, which avoids muddy, boggy fields, yet provides picturesque views.

Location

The walk starts and finishes in the village of South Dalton, just 6.2-miles outside of the town of Beverley.

If you are using your Satnav, use this postcode: HU17 7PN. The postcode will take you to The Pipe and Glass Inn, where the walk starts.

Parking

You can park anywhere along the streets in South Dalton, just as long as you are not blocking somebody’s drive or the road.
